We are pleased to announce the release of LoadAVG 1.5 beta 1! The 1.5 beta fixes all outstanding issues found in LoadAVG to date and adds new features and functionality to help secure your data. Since this is a beta release, please be advised that you should back up your load installation before installing it.
The new version of LoadAVG remains true to its original roots, being a fast, light-weight and easy to use load monitoring tool. You can install the new version over a older version however you will need to make sure that you back up your logs folder first!

The easiest way to install the beta is:
1. cd /path/to/LOADAVG
2. cd.. (move up one directory)
3. cp -R LOADAVG loadavg_bak (backup your loadavg install)
4. mkdir beta
5. cd beta
6. wget http://www.loadavg.com/beta/loadavg_1.5b1.tar.gz
7. tar -zxvf loadavg_1.5b1.tar.gz
8. cd ..
9. cp -vfR beta/* LOADAVG
10. point your web browser to LOADAVG and follow instructions

We will then start work on LoadAVG 2.0 which will be a complete reqrite released un the GPL. LoadAVG 2.0 will include advanced features such as a API that will allow you to set up a master server that will collect log data from multiple clients.
Suggestions for 2.0 are also welcome!
