The SSH module allows you to track and monitor ssh activity on your server. It does this my parsing you sshd log file and recording this data for display in the LoadAvg charting module as seen below.

ssh_module

Currently the SSH module is capable of tracking three different datasets:

Accepted : Logins that were accepted by the system and that give the user access
Failed : Logins that are denied by the system and do not give the user access
Invalid : Attempts to log in using invalid user names or accounts

Settings

The SSH module can be tuned for different linux installations by changing the location of the log file in the settings module as seen below.

ssh_settings

The default config if for Redhat based installations which have their log file located at

/var/log/secure

For Ubuntu and Debian systems you will need to change this to

/var/log/auth.log

Note: We will be adding auto-detection to this module in the next release.
